COVID-19

Dr.'s Rami & Amjad Heidami and the Team at Baytown Dental Center care for your safety and work hard to prevent the spread of infection. These are the steps we are actively taking to insure Baytown Dental Center remains as sterile and clean as possible:

1- We have placed a dedicated True HEPA Air Filter in each one of our treatment rooms and our main lobby. True HEPA filters are designed to capture and trap respiratory droplets which is the primary way this harmful virus is transmitted.

2- Our team will use a hospital grade anti-viral and anti-bacterial spray to regularly wipe down all arm chairs, door handles, faucets, countertops and pens.

3- Before you enter the examining room, all surfaces, such as the dental chair, dental light, drawer handles and countertops, have been cleaned and disinfected with hospital grade anti-bacterial and anti-viral wipes and sprays.

4- We cover equipment with protective barriers, which are replaced after each patient.

5- Non-disposable items, like dental tools, go through a multi-step sterilization protocol: First they are sprayed and wiped with a hospital grade disinfecting agent; second they are placed in an ultra-sonic disinfecting bath; Third, they are subjected to very high pressure and temperature in a state-of-the-art sterilization chamber. Our sterilization equipment is tested regularly to insure their proper functioning and that all microbes are killed.

6- Disposable dental tools and needles are never reused.

7- Infection control precautions also require all dental team members involved in patient care to use appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, masks, and eyewear when needed.

8- After each patient, disposable gloves and masks are thrown away.

9- Before seeing the next patient, everyone on the treatment team washes their hands with soap and puts on a new pair of gloves.

10- We will avoid direct contact without gloves i.e. handshakes, high-fives, secret hand-shakes, etc

Your well-being is important to Dr.’s Rami & Amjad Heidami and the Team. That’s why such strict infection control procedures are in place at Baytown Dental Center.
