What should I expect when I get Invisalign?
During your consultation, our dentist Dr. Heidami will sit down with you to map out a treatment plan based on your specific goals. After taking digital impressions of your mouth, we will send this data to a lab to fabricate your personalized set of Invisalign aligners. How many aligners you wear during your treatment will depend on the severity of the issues you’re looking to correct. Once your Invisalign is ready, you will come into the office so we can fit you with your very first set of aligners. You will wear them for about two weeks and then swap them out for the next set in your treatment.
How long will I wear my Invisalign aligners?
This will depend on many factors including the severity of your case and what teeth need to be shifted. Furthermore, the more hours you wear your aligners each day the faster your treatment will be. We recommend that you wear them for about 20 to 22 hours each day and only remove them to brush and floss your teeth and before eating or drinking.
